We were privileged to have Character Builders coordinate our Year 11 students.  The activities were well planned and tailored to suit our requirements. Clare and Damon took the time, both in the planning stage and during the camp, to ascertain the message we  wanted for our students. They captivate their audience, organise suitable activities and energise a group. One of their remarkable features is that they connect with the students and get to know their audience personally and professionally.  The students loved Damon and Clare.  I have no hesitation in recommending Character Builders to other school groups.  They were an asset to our camp.

Dr Natalia Marriott, Head of St Cuthbert House, Lindisfarne Anglican Grammar School

We have had the pleasure of Damon's wise words shared with students from Years 6 to 12. He engages his audience as soon as he steps in the door. Sharing his passion with ease of understanding and through his style of presentation, Damon inspires his audience to be the best they can be.

Di Tamer - Past Head of Pastoral Care, Clayfield College

Character Builders provided a fun-filled, interesting session to all our Year 9 students on Group Dynamics. The girls loved the interactive presentation as well as the group work activities which involved an exciting photo treasure hunt! Damon was funny, entertaining as well as able to engage the students in a meaningful way. We are looking forward to Damon working with our students in the future.

Maree Trims, Past Yr 9 Coordinator, Mt St Michael’s College

Lots of good reports from staff and heaps from the students following our day out last week so thanks once again.

Heath Del Favero, West Moreton Anglican College

I would like to extend you and your team my heartfelt thanks for the last couple of days you spent with our boys. All feedback I have received from staff and students who attended them has been overwhelmingly positive and extremely complimentary of the way you guys conducted the days

Mr Michael O’Brien – Vice Rector Formation, Padua College

I have had the pleasure of working with Damon from Character Builders in my role as the Head of Primary at Moreton Bay College. Damon has led our Year 7 students through full day student leadership workshops. I have found Damon to be highly professional and very well organised. He works collaboratively with school teams to ensure the unique needs of the school individuals, environment and culture are met. He engages the girls in meaningful tasks and delivers a well planned program with enthusiasm and passion.

It is clear that he enjoys igniting the flame in the minds of children and young adolescents. At all times he is approachable and respectful. Damon communicates very effectively and follows up on tasks as promised. We will continue to enjoy the collaboration with Character Builders in the future in the quest to build confident, open minded, caring and knowledgeable student leaders.

Mrs Rebecca Lennon, Head of Primary, Moreton Bay College

I have been really impressed with the growth and change in attitude of many year 7's in particular. Many of the kids who stepped up over the two days we spent with you have gone on to be really active members in our leadership groups.

Jane Gillespe, Redbank Primary

Damon Joseph from Character Builders supported our Year 7 students and teachers in delivering an effective Leadership course. He led a half day workshop for our students that was closely tailored to the specific needs of our College. The activities and strategies used consolidated the key concepts of the learning unit and Damon was a positive role model for students. The feedback from students was overwhelmingly positive and I gladly recommend this consultancy.

Eva Perry, Former Head of Primary, Cannon Hill Anglican College

Character Builders provided our year 11 students with an awesome experience on our Student Leadership Retreat. Damon and Shane challenged our students and got them out of their comfort zones. The team building activities run on the day were fantastic. Damon has a wonderful way of interacting with the students and getting the most out of them. It helped our students prepare for the leadership challenge that lies ahead of them next year. Character Builders will add value to any school community.

Luke McKenna, Year 11 Pastoral Coordinator, St Eugene College Burpengary

The Character Builders Kokoda Challenge was a very valuable day. The physical challenges that could only be conquered by working as a team really bought our group together in a way that would have been impossible in a classroom. The history of Kokoda, presented from both sides of the conflict, really made my students think about what soldiers and service people have had to endure to ensure our freedom. On top of this, the students loved the day, and wanted to go again the next day to beat their times up the track.
